Ormond Road, from north of White Lake Road to Davisburg Road in Springfield Township, was to be resurfaced starting this past Monday, August 17, through approximately Sunday, September 20, but the work has been delayed by the contractor. A new date will be announced soon.
The project will include paving with asphalt, guardrail replacement, and new pavement markings.
During the work, the road will remain open to traffic with flaggers on scene.
The $1.13 million project is being paid for with a mix of federal funds and Oakland County Road Commission dollars.
