Paid parking will officially begin in the city’s Depot Road parking lot today, July 5.
As recommended by the Parking Advisory Committee, the parking fee and the hours of operation will be identical to those in the existing Washington and Main paid lot at $1 per hour from 4-9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. All other times remain free.
The city’s online parking payment app (PassportParking.com) can be used in either lot, eliminating the need to walk to the kiosk to pay.
