Clarkston Cub Scout Pack 163 won Best Overall Entry in the Holiday Lights Parade with their Star Wars-themed float at the Holiday Lights Parade, Dec. 16 in downtown Clarkston.
Their decked-out trailer festooned with TIE fighters and an AT-AT, and scouts dressed as Jedi, Sith, rebels, and stormtroopers earned them a $250 cash award, sponsored by Team RUSH.
Clarkston High School’s a cappella groups Detroit Voice, Synergy and Encore earned the Best Holiday Spirit Award.
Clarkston High School Varsity Football Team, celebrating their state championship with the bundled-up crowd, won the Wolf Pride Award in the parade. The award earned them a $100 prize, sponsored by Wright & Filippis.
