An Independence Township resident contacted The Clarkston News via Facebook on September 24 to share her daughter hit a pothole Maybee Road just after Dixie Highway before the cemetery.
The pothole caused the car to get two flat “shredded” tires and two bent rims.
The resident noted the tow truck driver said they were the sixth car to hit the pothole and need help.
According to the Independence Township substation, the Road Commission for Oakland County was notified and the hole was filled in this past Monday.
