Fresh supplies are arriving daily at local grocery stores and going out just as fast, said Nate Neiman of Neiman’s Family Market in Clarkston.
“The weekend was crazy,” Neiman said. “Kudos to the staff. They’re working 24/7 to get the product out.”
Neiman’s is reaching out to area workers affected by the government-ordered shutdowns, especially restaurant and bar employees, who are looking for temporary employment. The market is offering immediate employment in many areas including stocking and deli.
