What ‘MATT’ers: Spring? Maybe?

Michigan weather likes to mess with our minds.
Yes, the first day of spring technically is next week.
Technically.
We still may get a snowstorm or two or maybe we’ll get 90-degree temperatures.
It’s happened before, folks.
I admit. I’m a sucker for fall and spring. I enjoy the seasons changing because fall leads to winter (and hockey season) and spring leads to summer (let’s open the pool!)
If nothing else, this past year has taught us all to appreciate the simple things in life, the fun parts of life – in a nutshell, family.
Yes, times may be tough right now, and we are all experiencing this “new normal,” but maintaining a positive mindset and attitude is crucial to helping us all get through whatever this is we are going through.
That’s where spring means so much.
It’s a fresh start, a new chapter, a restart, if you will.
Maybe the kids have springtime sports and activities coming up. Maybe it’s time to sharpen the blades on the mower and winterize the snowblower.
Maybe.
In any event, for those travelling for spring break, be safe and enjoy the moment. You may never get those moments again.
For those staying in town, you can make fun memories, too.
Memories are far more meaningful than material objects, so enjoy spring and know that summer is fast approaching.
