Rotary reward

The Clarkston Rotary Club received a $2,000 non-profit grant from Oakland County for its “Shoes for Kids” program through the county’s COVID-19 Economic Impact Grant program. The Rotary was unable to have its shoes program this year due to health concerns with the ongoing pandemic.

Free park days

Visitors will receive free daily park entry to Oakland County Parks and Recreation’s parks on three days in December: Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24; Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25; and New Year’s Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31.
